I saw my first Vulcan at Hendon, inside one of the hangars. While it appeared big, you don't really get an appreciation of the enormous wing area of these critters until you see one out in the open. I saw this one at RAF East Fortune in Scotland. It's a quick trip by car, or a couple of hours by public transport, from Edinburgh. It's well worth spending a day here, there is just so much to see.
